Hard Drive is not detected & recordings device not showing up on DVR

hello friends welcome once again to my blog. Many of people  have  problem they are facing Error Message: Hard Drive is not detected on DVR .I will tell you. How you can resolve the error, reset your HDD to ensure the cable connections are secure.


The following instructions require you to resolve it.

  • To check power adapter:
Some time DVR's power adapter is not give the power to DVR that why HDD drive not get 
proper power and not detect.Check power adapter it's give proper power to DVR.if it's not work then change power adapter.
  • To reset your HDD:
  • Power off the DVR  system and unplug all cables.
WARNING: Make sure that the system is off and the power cable is disconnected before attempting to open your DVR 
  • The DVR  cover is secured with screws. Remove the screws and slide the cover off.
WARNING: The inner casing of the DVR  has sharp edges that can lead to injury if not carefully handled. Be careful not to let any tools or loose parts touch sensitive components such as the circuit board.
  • Disconnect and reconnect the two cables going to the HDD. Make sure they are securely connected.
  • Carefully replace the casing of the DVR  and secure the screws.
  • Reconnect the power source and monitor.
  • Right-click on the DVR Live View to access the Quick Menu.
  • Click Main Menu and then click the Setting .
  • Click Storage > HDD Manager.
  • To Upgrading the DVR System Firmware.
Software can be problem for it some time your DVR firmware is not update see the DVR software version after it check new update on web.
